Product / Services
The product / services area support s unlimited categories, items and photos (only restricted by your hosting package disk space). Addition and editing of products is done via the content manager. When uploading a product photo a thumbnail is automatically generated.
You will be able to store multiple photos for each product if you wish.
You will also be able to store multiple options and prices for each product (such as sizes, colours, etc.)
All top 5 selling products will also be automatically marked as 'best seller'. New products will be automatically marked as 'new' for 7 days after they have been added to the site.
Each product will include a 'stock availability' colour code. This would be a small label displayed next to the price that would identify if the item is 'in stock', 'limited stock' or 'temporarily out of stock'. You would be able to select these as an option in the content manager when adding or editing products.
Stock Reporting
Via the content manager, you will be able to export a stock report in Excel format. This will show what stock you currently have on the website.
Inventory Control
This feature will be able to be switched on or off at any time via the content manager. When switched on, all successful purchases will automatically update the stock levels on the website. You can control stock levels at any time via the content manager.
What's new
This page will automatically show the products that have been added to the website within the past 7 days (this can be changed at any time). There is no need to manage this page manually as it is done automatically.
Best Sellers
This page will automatically show the top 5 selling products.
Global currency converter
An international currency converter is built in to your website. All prices are shown in Australian dollars, US dollars and Euro dollars. Visitors from other countries can click on the ‘global currency converter' to convert prices into their own currency within seconds. You can elect to add or remove different currencies from the prices areas while the site is being designed or at a later date. For example, you may find that you have a market in Japan and therefore want to display all prices in the Japanese Yen as well as Australian Dollars.
Multiple payment methods
Acceptance of credit cards, cheques, postal orders, fax and bank to bank transfers opens up the options for customers to purchase products and services. All credit card transactions are done via our super fast secure payment system ‘egateway' (see http://www.egateway.com.au for more info).
